12 Nov Best WordPress Plugins that every website must have
Every time I install WordPress for a new client or for any of my endless projects I add these 5 plugins. They are must-haves!
Each of them takes cares of something that will be vital for your website to work properly, from being protected from spam to ranking better on search engines.
So let me explain you a little bit more of what they do:
It’s a huge plugin that offers a lot of features from just one install. It will give you analytics from your visitors and will protect you from force attacks, among others.
2) Yoast SEO
This plugin is the best to have an amazing SEO on your website. For every post or product you add to your blog it will give you a punctuation based on a code from green to red, plus directions to improve it in case you don’t have the best result. Moreover, they have a blog in which you can learn all what you need to know about SEO.
It comes by default with the WordPress installation, but you must signup to activate it. Do it! Is a must if you don’t want to end up receiving hundreds of spam comments and emails.
4) WP Super Cache or W3 Total Cache
A website needs to load as fast as possible. If it takes longer than normal you will loose many visitors, which could have been potential customers.
In order to avoid, try to install a caching plugin like WP Super Cache (very easy to install) or W3 Total Cache if you have a little bit of experience with WordPress.
Finally, I can’t think of a website that does not need a contact form. Yes, you can just write your email and phone contacts, but at the end a form will be very helpful. So if you want to have this popular add-on in your website, don’t think it twice and use Contact Form 7. It’s the best and easiest way to add a contact form to your WordPress site!
That’s all what you will need to start your WordPress site, but if you are looking for a specific plugin to add to your website let me know and I’ll try to help you!
